Jeffrey A. Schmierer, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Schmierer is board certified in cardiovascular disease. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, completed his internal medicine residency at Cornell University Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Medical Center in New York. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His clinical interests include treatment of coronary artery disease, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, heart failure, cardiovascular risk reduction and preventive Cardiology. Dr. Schmierer is committed to an excellent doctor-patient relationship. He has been honored both as a Castle Connolly Top Doc for the past 5ξyears and as a top physician in Fairfield County.
